I got a text from DjIV letting me know that him, Classified and the rest of the Scotian crew were gonna be here in Toronto for 2 sold out shows at the Opera House on April 26th and 27th. DjIV (aka Brian or IV) told me he had 2-day VIP passes for me and my friend Dutch (the man who introduced me to them a year or so ago). I was excited! I’ve seen Classified and the crew perform on a few occasions and they always put on high energy shows. They involve fans in their sets, give out prizes, talk about cannabis AND they’re Canadian - Scotian to be exact!
Classified’s first show was on Friday night. After work I rushed home to get my medicine in order and grab a few cookies before heading back downtown. Dutch came and picked me up and we were off to meet up with IV, Classified and the rest of the boys.
We met up with everyone on the tour bus which was parked by the venue. I greeted everybody I knew and introduced myself to the few I didn’t. There was an empty spot at the table so I parked my butt down beside Mike Boyd (Classified’s brother) and started chatting with everybody at the table. A few joints later we went inside to check out the opening acts. After catching a bit of Quake’s set I went downstairs to medicate. We were all discussing and comparing cannabis while joints were being passed around. Out of the corner of my eye I saw this side room with 2 bright red chairs in it. I got curious and asked IV what it was. He told me it was a smoothie room - GET OUT!!! I had to check it out with my own eyes to believe it. It def was a smoothie making room. I thought that was soooooo kewl! C’mon now. Who wouldn’t? I love smoothies! IV poured me a drink (which later on I accidently spilled all over Dutch’s shoe- sorry!!!!) and we went back upstairs to check out Kayo’s set. The venue was rammed with people! Everybody was bobbing in unison while Kayo rocked the stage. I listened to a few songs, took some pictures and went back downstairs for another joint (or 5) with Class and the crew before they took the stage.
SHOW TIME! The lights were flashing the crowd was screaming and Classified, DjIV, Mike, Mark and Jake were killing it!! Classified performed tracks old and new. The audience was singing along word for word. During the show he pulled an audience member on stage and had her spin a prize wheel. There were a few different prizes that she could have won including hanging out on the tour bus. She ended up winning the CD but since she was so awesome, Classified also told her she could come on the bus after the show to collect the CD. DjIV put on “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and the girl bodysurfed off the stage- amazing! A few songs later - unknowing to me or Dutch- we (and the other people on the side of the stage) were suddenly corralled on center stage for Oh Canada. It was craaaaaaaaaazy! I rocked my G Pen and sang along with everybody else. The energy in that room was indescribable. SOOO MUCH FUN!!
After the show we went back to the tour bus. Randy (their bus driver) started singing “Started From the Bottom” and the bus roared with laughter and cheers. I grabbed my phone and recorded a bit of him singing because it was such a happy moment- just beautiful! After much more chatting and medicating it was time to go home. We were gonna do this all over again tomorrow and I needed to get some rest. Dutch dropped me off at home and told me he’d come get me tomorrow at the same time- sweet! I got in, rolled a budda blunt and KO’d.
Day 2 - I was kinda sorta rested and ready to go! It was the last night of their tour and there was gonna be a crazy after party.I took my cannabis leaf flag off my wall and put it in a bag to bring with me, jusssssssst incase we went on stage again for Oh Canada. Dutch came and picked me up, we drove downtown and met up with everyone on the tour bus. Much like the night before we all chatted, had drinks and medicated with cannabis before the show started.
I took in the acts from the side of the stage. The crowd was just as loud as the night before, if not louder! Oh Canada came on and (as I assumed) we were all on stage again. Dancing around singing along and having a great time! I proudly waved my cannabis flag and hit my G Pen while taking in the awesomeness of the crowd.
Classified and the crew said goodnight to their fans. The show ended, all their equipment was loaded and then we were off to the afterparty. There was a limo bus (maybe more) a tour bus and cars full of people that were going. About 45 minutes later we arrived at the GORGEOUS Towers’ residence. There were drinks, food, loud music, a pool, a hot tub, a tea bar, fire pits, humongous TV’s, little paths leading out to different locations on the property - the place was BEAUTIFUL!! I met a lot of great people and medicated with many different strains of cannabis people brought with them. Everybody was having a great time. At one point I went upstairs and saw Classified barbecuing. He jokingly said to the crowd of people “Burgers $1, Ketchup $3” everybody cracked up!! After lots more medicating, joking around and chatting it was time for me to go home. It was around 6:00am, the birds were starting to chirp and I was getting a lil tired. I hugged everyone goodbye and told them I’d see them next time they were in the city. There was a limo(s) bringing people back downtown that was going to be departing in a bit but I got a ride home with Dutch. He dropped his friend off and then dropped me off (and then I assume he went home and crashed like I did, lol!) When I got in I kicked my shoes off, rolled a blunt and reflected on the fantastic weekend I had. Those Soctians sure know how to have a good time! Lotsa Love to them!!!
A couple of weeks ago my friend told me Waka Flocka was going on tour. Waka’s “Do Right Ü Gain Success” Canadian Tour presented by Gorgeous Gangsters and Drügs (the makers AND sellers of my Drügs beanie/toque that everybody I meet asks about and wants to buy) was hitting Toronto on March 30th. I was excited because usually when Waka comes to Toronto he stops by for a visit and a session. I like medicating/smoking with him. He’s full of fun stories and like me, enjoys fabulous cannabis and vanilla backwoods. I’ve probably said this before but I’ll still say it again. Waka Flocka (Juaquin Malphurs DOB 05/31/86) is a stellar guy! He’s a genuine, well spoken, intelligent man who truly cares for his fans. Many celebrities take their fans for granted - NOT THIS GUY! Waka always posts pictures on his Instagram of himself and his #newfriends. Every show of his that I’ve been to I see him take time after his set(s) to greet his fans, answer questions and take pictures with them. He shows love - and I just love, love, LOVE people like that!
On the day of his Toronto show, my friend Buck from Gorgeous Gangsters called me and said Waka’s flight gets in late in the afternoon and he wouldn’t have time to come by for a visit... so he was gonna bring me to him instead. I was down! Sounded like it could be fun. He got his friends/associates to come grab me at my place and we drove somewhere downtown. We all met up, switched vehicles and we were off to the airport to pick Waka up.
After a bit of waiting, a few phone calls and probably just as many blunts - we see Waka and his friend. The GG’s loaded Waka’s luggage into the back and we were off! I introduced myself to his friend and we started talking about Micro G Pens and concentrates (if you know me, that's some of my favorite stuff to talk about) Waka opened his gift and was about to roll up. I told him to hang on to what he had and handed him some of my medicine to roll. I LOVE when men roll my blunts! It’s not that i can’t roll - TRUSSSSSSSSST ME I can! But I really enjoy watching other people roll. To me it’s an art form... yea yea I’m weird - let’s move on with the story
Waka lights the blunt and then passes it to me. He looks at me and says “You know I told my brother about you”.. I just laughed- wonder what he said... haha! We started talking about different types of medicine and just having general back and forth banter with everybody in the vehicle as the blunt went around. After a couple more of those, some G Pen hits (The G Pen that Action Bronson gave me) and lotsa chatting, we pull up to his hotel. A bunch more GG’s were there waiting. Everybody did their pleasantries. Waka went up to his room to drop his stuff off and then they were off to a video shoot. I had to go home to grab more meds. I didn’t plan on staying downtown until the show started so I def wasn’t prepared to do that. I smoke A LOT so I had to go home and reload
I went home and met up with my friend Leah. I invited Leah to come with me because she is 1) my friend and 2) a fan of Waka’s. Her and I smoked a blunt (yes I know, I smoke alotta blunts!) and got ready to leave. My friend texted me and let me know that Waka hit the stage at 11:25 so I should make my way there soon. We got in the car and proceeded to go to the venue. The show was at The Phoenix in downtown Toronto.
Going through security they found my cannabis. Since it is private property they can tell me that I cannot have it on their premises (which they did) I honestly didn’t know I had any on me. I thought I hid it all. For some reason that always happens to me. There’s always a bag of cannabis in my bag that I don’t know I have. After figuring out a better spot to put my medicine I went back to security and was cleared to go through.
YAY! We made it before he hit the stage!!! My friend met us at the door and brought us through. I stood by the stage and waited for Waka’s set to start. He hit the stage and the crowd roared. The place was PACKED!!! In true Waka style he interacted with his fans during his set. He sat on the side of the stage at one point while performing and touched his fans hands and started talking to them- it was fabulous to see! I’m all about people appreciating people. When he started “Round Of Applause” he brought 2 girls up on stage and let them do their thing. All of the sudden this guy beside me spills his beer allllllllll over my boobs - MY GAWD!! I despise the smell of beer so that kinda irked me but honestly, stuff happens. Nothing to get cranky about. So I didn’t! Buck came and met me at this point and brought me and my friend backstage.
I needed a place to roll some blunts (or have them rolled for me, hehe!) so He lead me upstairs to a place where I could chill and get my blunts ready. I chatted with others that were in the room and started rolling up. While I was rolling I looked up saw a girl with what appeared to have no pants on. I looked down, thought I was trippin and looked back up to see if I was or not. Nope. She def had no pants on. I'm not sure if she had shorts on or panties(couldn't tell) but either way I kinda felt bad for her mother(and awkward being in the room with her) If I had a daughter I wouldn’t want her in a club with no pants on. To each their own but honestly she didn’t have anybody following her around so I don’t think she accomplished what she set out to do.. whatever that was!? (Ohhh calm down! I’m not being rude here- just stating fact!) Not a fan of women like that. Blunt was rolled and smoked. and a friend started rolling another one up for me. My friend came up and I told him I wanted to see the show. He then got his friend- another GG and asked him to bring me downstairs. He walked me up on the side of the stage and that’s where I stayed. I watched the rest of Waka’s set with the bestest view in the venue - LOVED IT!!! When Waka was done, he left the stage and went to the back. After taking a couple pictures of the crowd I left the stage and went to the back too. I greeted Waka again and told him he put on a fab show! I also introduced him to my girl I had brought with me. They took a pic (that made her month!!) and we chatted a lil bit more. Then -like I said before- Waka went out on the floor to take pictures with his fans. I said my goodbyes to all my friends that I could find- old and new and then went to the car. There was an afterparty at Luxy but I couldn’t attend. I was waaaaay too hungry and by the time I had finished getting food and eating it woulda been way to late. I hadn’t eaten all day and I had a bare minimum of 10 blunts in me from the day’s events. I got some food and then went home. It had been a crazy 10 days for me. On top of my my full time job at the dispensary and the baking (and parenting) I do, I also attended the Raekwon show, met up with Classified, DjIV and their crew, chilled with Action Bronson and then attended his show and now this with Waka Flocka. Plain and simple I WAS TIRED!! I texted my friend and thanked him for the lovely evening and then KO’d!
I’d like to thank Gorgeous Gangsters for showing me a fabulous time. They didn’t have to but they went out of their way to make my evening very enjoyable. Don’t let their rough and rugged images fool you -They sure know how to treat a lady PROPER!! ... and that's the sh!t I like!!!Lotsa Love!!! -Amy Anonymous Instagram: TheAmyAnonymousTwitter: TheAmyAnonymousFacebook Fan page: Amy AnonymousFacebook Profile: Amy BrownDon't forget to follow Gorgeous GangstersTwitter: GorgeousGangstersInstagram: GorgeousGangsters ...and always, ALWAYS check out Swagg News for all the latest info on your favorite artists, gear.. and urban errything!
My Friend Chris (@CARTELFILMCEO on twitter) called me last week and told me Action Bronson was gonna be in town performing at the Hoxton on March 21st. Chris said they were gonna come visit me when Action Bronson got into the city. I was down! Action Bronson (Arian Asllani DOB 12/02/83) is a kewl AF guy. I met him a few months back. He came for a visit and we got M-E-D-I-C-A-T-E-D!! That boy can def handle his budda (which he calls wax- it’s an American thing) I assumed this visit would be no different. He’s a pro dabber and quite frankly, that’s my fav kind of person to medicate with!
Action Bronson, his boy Tommy and my friend Chris came over and I pulled out my glass. I always have a couple pieces on my desk( and they’re all from Liquid Chrome in Barrie, Ontario!) Let the dabs begin!!! Action Bronson whipped out his G Pen (Action Bronson Micro G Pen can be purchased @ www.GrencoScience.com) and gave it to me to keep. I was sooo flattered! I tried it out and loved it! Bronson was looking for a Toro for himself so I called my friend Dutch and asked if he could help. He wasn’t in Barrie though. He was already in Toronto working Canadian Music Week. I then called my friend Shane. He works for a place called Vape On The Lake. I knew he (like me) also loved his Toro Glass and that he could probably hook it up. He was down to help! I told him to meet up with me later that night so we could get Bronson’s new piece to him.
After many dabs and lotsa chit chat we went up to THC to grab some baggies. We checked out their glass, grabbed the baggies and then parted ways. I had to go back to work and they had to go shopping and then sleep before the show.
Later that evening I met up with Shane at a local 420 friendly comedy bar/cafe called Clandestiny. After the comedy was done we headed to the Hoxton. Security was FAB there. Super sweet dudes! Usually when I go somewhere I get all but a finger in my butt when I pass through security and that was not the case this time. Don’t get me wrong they def kept the place secure. They just weren’t as invasive as I was used to (which was quite nice!) At the back of the club there were 2 tables (I think) and a couple couches- TADA!! Perfect place to roll. I planted my butt down, told Shane I'd see him later (he wanted to go in the crowd), whipped out my cannabis and vanilla backwoods and started rolling up. I was sitting with KOTD’s street team chatting away. This photographer came up to me and said “you know, if you reallllly wanted to you might be able to light that right here” I laughed hard- he obviously didn’t know me (lol!!) I lit up and waited for my friend Buck from Swagg News (www.SwaggNews.com) to arrive. Buck is my friend who gave me my D.R.U.G.S toque that everybody loves! (ps - they can be purchased @ www.GorgeousGangsters.com) When Buck got there, I went and met him at the door and brought him back to the couches to roll another blunt while we waited for Action to start his set.
Action hit the stage and the crowd went wild!! After rolling another blunt we started walking to the side of the stage to meet up with Chris. All of the sudden Action Bronson was body surfing!!!! I couldn’t believe it! SOOOOOOOO kewl! Next thing I knew he was at the back of the room. The fans went CRAZY!. This lead to a few other people body surfing and me ducking to avoid getting kicked in the head. Crazy, CRAZY show! (Thank Lola for the body surfing stunt- she's so00o smart when it comes to entertaining crowds!!!)
After the show Buck and I went and met my friend Chris at the side of the stage. I told Shane and a couple other friends to meet up with us there too. It was kinda funny cause Security said we couldn’t go back. Chris told him Action requested me and he’ll be quite mad if he doesn't get to see me. Chris then went downstairs and came back up with somebody else. That person said something to security and BAM we were going backstage. I smiled at the guy that denied us and went on my merry way to greet Bronson and the crew. No hard feelings to security - he was just doing his job!
In true Amy Anonymous fashion the second I get in the room- I start getting my meds ready for my blunt(s) I said hi to everybody and introduced my friends to Action Bronson... who then gave him the Toro so he could start medicating properly. Maybe it was the meds or me being over tired but I didn't realize my girl Lola of iluvlola was sitting right beside Bronson. I squealed and ran and gave her a HUGE hug! I hadn’t seen her since last time Waka Flocka was in town. Lola is the woman that introduced me to Waka. I love seeing her! She’s such a kewl chick! Security came in the room and I started chatting with him(them). We laughed about how he wasn't gonna let me in. It was all good. We're def buds now- again just doing his job! After lots of chatting and medicating I had to go home. I worked the next morning and it was already almost 3:00am. We said our goodbyes to everybody and I told Bronson and Tommy I’d see them next time they were in the city.... and we’ll do it allllllll over again!Lotsa Love! - Amy Anonymous Twitter: TheAmyAnonymousInstagram: TheAmyAnonymousFacebook: AmyAnonymous
I'm gonna be honest, I had never heard of the SToK vape until somebody tweeted me about it. I'm a die hard G Pen fan but I wanted to learn more about this SToK vape! I spoke with the Man of Chrome, Jason Clairman and asked if his store Liquid Chrome - or as I like to call them "My Home of Glass Porn" carried them. OBVIOUSLY Liquid Chrome did! They have everything you could imagine putting your cannabis or cannabis concentrates in. I told Jason I wanted to do a review on the SToK and compare it to my G Pen. He said he'd mail me out one- I WAS SOOOO EXCITED!! I love new gear/toys/medicating devices!!
Here is a video review of the SToK vape pen and the G Pen
LOTSA LOVE!!!
Last year I had an idea. I wanted to give out milk and cookies and medicine to the less fortunate on the streets of Toronto - my home town. I told a bunch of friends and they started donating items to make this happen. It was a HUGE success! I vowed to myself I'd make it an annual event - so I did! This year my friends helped me make this happen again. My friends Kim and Jeff donated hats and gloves, CALM donated papers, Kim S donated handwarmers and time, Irish Kevin donated medicine, Sobey's donated the milk, Chris donated his camera expertise, Fit 4 Life donated some funds as did my friend Mike D. and I pitched in the rest. Stuff like this should be done all year round - not just during the holiday season. I hope this video encourages others to do the same. SPREAD LOVE! LOTSA LOVE!! -Amy Anonymous

I woke up on Wednesday Oct. 17th on a mission - I had to get a new phone! My phone crashed the day before so I really didn't have an option. I got to work a little late and sat down at my desk and tried to figure out how to use the dang thing. As I was sitting there my phone rang- It was Lola from ‘ILuvLola’ I don’t even know if I can sum her title up- but I’m gonna try! Lola (to me) is the Queen of entertainment here in Toronto. She brings the hottest artists to the city (and MANY other cities) She makes sure the artists are well taken care of while on tour, interviews artists and posts them on her site for fans to see, holds it down during the show and basically .. well she runs sh!t..
Back to the story. Lola told me she had an artist who just got in the city and wanted to see me. Before she could even finish the sentence I was like “WAKAAAAAAAA” We both laughed. She told me they were gonna stop by before the FLOW interview- she knew I was sooo down. I heart Waka (Flocka Flame) For those of you who may not know who I am talking about, here’s a little background. Waka Flocka Flame(Juaquin Malphurs) is a Southern rapper with New York roots (we all know how much I love New Yorkers, lol) He’s best known for his songs “O Let’s Do It” “Hard In The Paint” and “No Hands” .. but let’s be real everything that man contributes to vocally is known!
Knock, knock, knock - It’s Lola and Waka!! When I saw Lola I gave her the biggest hug- I hadn’t seen her in a while and I absolutely adore (and respect) this woman. Right behind her was the man of the hour - of course he got a big hug too! After he chatted with my colleagues and I gave him a little tour of the room we were in (I work for a dispensary so there was some kewl stuff to see) we went upstairs to my office. We discussed Vanilla Backwoods, dispensaries, strains, budda, Canadian & American cannabis laws over a couple blunts with my friend Buck that I invited over from Swagg News. Waka was really diggin the Vanilla Backwoods and needed more - so my friend told him he could get them for him (and he did! - more on that later) Lola remembered last time (when she introduced us during Caribana) the photos we got were blurry so she snapped a couple pics of us before he left. I was UBER flattered when he told me to put his BSM chain on - the dang thing was HEAVY!! I didn’t even wanna put my fingers on it it was so hawt .. but I did! They (Lola and Waka Flocka) had to go to FLOW 93.5 so I gave them hugs and told them I’d see them later that night at the show.
Show was FANTASTIC!!! The crowd all had their hands up in the air and were bouncing to the beats. The word SQUAD! was heard too many times to count - LOVED IT!!! Unlike most shows I go to see- I didn’t spend half my night answering questions about cannabis - not that I’m complaining but sometimes I just wanna have fun and not be in work mode.. and fun I did have! I met up with Buck there and we smoked a couple blunts while watching Waka’s set. There was this one dude beside me who kept asking to get ‘hauls’ off my blunt- didn’t matter that I told him no twice- he still thought he was getting in on it - DIDN’T HAPPEN! He was quickly taken care of (thanks!) I really don’t have respect for people like that. No means no - move on! We all know I’m a giver but this guy was just rude- so he missed out....
When Waka was done and the lights came on I went looking for Lola. Buck had the blunts Waka was looking for and I... well... ya know (wink, wink).. I had some stuff. After finding Lola she brought us backstage where Waka and Friends were. We gave him the blunts and started comparing mine and Waka’s socks while rolling up. He reps some seriously kewl cannabis socks so I wore my knee high cannabis socks to show him.(They’re my fav socks) I saw a couple people I had ran into at other shows and talked budda with them. I love budda talk! People were showing me their cannabis so I brought out my 420 Scope so they could truly see their cannabis- I think I blew their minds, lol! After a couple more blunts I had to go home. I had to be at work the next morning and still had to do some baking before bed. My friend and I said our goodbyes to everyone, I hugged Waka Flocka and told him I’d see him next time he was in the city. I also thanked Lola for the fab time I had. We hung around outside for a bit longer and watched Waka Flocka greet his fans and then we left.
I took a cab home, baked some kushies and then rolled up my bedtime blunt. While smoking it all I could think of was how down to earth that man was! So kewl, so calm, so friendly and personable. Lots of celebrities are cocky and arrogant because- well- because they can be. Waka Flocka is def NOT one of those people. He really reaches out to his fans to make them feel special and appreciated - As seen when he walks out into the crowd during his sets, retweets and follows his followers on Twitter & by the amount of time he spends making sure everybody outside waiting for him at the end of the night at least gets to speak with him if not take a picture. I really respect that man!.. and Lola - well as I said earlier she runs sh!t !! Whenever my fav artists/rappers come to town who do you see beside them - LOLA! That woman owns the game- she’s not just on top! So work orientated yet playful - she keeps people in check and does it with such class. I admire that woman!
Well that’s the story of my crazy day with Waka Flocka Flame. - Lotsa Love!!! Lola, Waka Flocka and Myself | Waka Flocka Flame and Me in August 2012 |
