Life's been busy, good busy! Since my last blog my shop has expanded, I've started filming more episodes of High Fuckers for SwearNet and currently I am collecting donations for Milk And Cookies And Cannabis For The Homeless 2014. Don't get me wrong, I've been up to LOTSA fun however, I assumed the next blog I'd write would be about Milk And Cookies..... but then Schoolboy Q and A-Maxk(Mack) came to town! We had so much fun that I just couldn't miss blogging about this.
Honestly, I found out about the show the day before it. Last time Schoolboy Q (Q) was in town I didn't get to meet up with him or Mack due to timing issues. This time I knew I'd be free so I sent Mack a message letting him know. I was excited to meet them both as we have mutual friends and I'm also a fan of Q's music... That and they're backwoods smokers. We all know I love me my backwoods smokers. Lol!
Friday morning (Nov. 21) I wake up and go through my normal 'get ready for work' routine. I checked my phone and noticed I received a txt letting me know they had landed and asking me what time is be at the shop. I replied I'd msg them as soon as I got there and hurried my a$$ off to the shop. As promised, once I arrived I did.
About half an hour later Q, His bodyguard and Mack showed up. After all the introductions we sat down and got ready to smoke! I could tell already by their personalities that this was gonna be a fun visit. We had the Errlectric plugged in and ready to go. I grabbed a small slab of PK and offered them both some dabs while we rolled up. I showed them both how to use the enail. I took a dab then Mack took a dab and that's when the real fun started. These guys were cracking me up!!!! Lotsa funny videos and LOTSA jokes! We went outside to smoke in our smoking shed and about half a cannon in, the cold was just too much.
Back inside we continued doing dabs!! Our eyes got redder and the laughs got louder. I dared Mack to take a half gram dab and he asked if one of us would do that. Evan volunteered his lungs and showed them how it was done. Mack decided he'd try a huge one, not as huge as Evan's but still pretty big. I asked him if it was kewl if I recorded it and he was kewl so I did. Q made a joke when he went to inhale and he started laughing and blamed him for messing his dab up. our cheeks were sore from laughing so much - honestly this is no exaggeration! We all chatted, laughed and smoked some more but then it was time for them to get to their hotel and me to open the shop up. We said our goodbyes until later as I planned on going to check the show out.

After a long fun day at work my friend Alisha(my smoking partner- she keeps up!) met me at the shop and we headed to the venue. When we arrived, we were met at the door by my friend and a man named Max. Perfect! Before I left that night I needed to connect with him so it was awesome I saw him right when I arrived. He brought Alisha and I in, gave us wristbands, and brought us backstage and introduced me to a few people. I sat in the room and started getting my blunts ready for when Schoolboy Q hit the stage. Max returns and tells me they're asking for me and to come with him- so I did. WAIT! Where's Alisha!? I can't leave her! I asked max if he could go back and get her once he dropped me off to the dressing room/chill room and he was more than kewl with that (thank you!!) I walked in and it was hugs all around. I told Q and Mack I was surprised they made it after their crazy morning and we all laughed! Blunts were being passed around, brilliant conversations were being had(maybe that was due to the cannabis haha), pictures were being took, I was drinking some AMAZING Apple mango juice(again maybe it was the cannabis but I swear that was the best juice ever!) 3 packs of backwoods in and looking for a forth- it was time for them to hit the stage
Alisha and I went to the back, side stage and watched the set from there. I felt like a concert bootlegger because I swear I recorded almost the entire thing on my phone. The performance was soooo good that I didn't wanna stop recording and miss any of the awesomeness. I'm not sure of the right words to describe the audience. Maybe live is a good word, maybe down-as-funk but I think the real way to describe that crowd was TURNT UP!! Which are words you rarely hear coming from my mouth but really that's the best description! One fan in the crowd ended up on stage and instead of having security remove him, Q put his arm on his shoulder and continued his set. Man Of The Year came on the energy got even more intense! And I'm sure you can only image how the ladies went when Studio came on ;) Before Schoolboy Q left the stage he thanked everybody for their love and support. He basically said he didn't have a day job. This was his job and without his fans he wouldn't have a job. The best part was it wasn't something he just said. It was something you knew he whole heatedly meant when he said it. He's an appreciative guy and I have an uber amount of respect for him!
Once Q and Mack left the stage the lights came on and people started filing out. I grabbed Alisha and we went to get coats from the backstage room. Security answered the door and invited us in. Unfortunately I couldn't stay long because I had to work early in the morning. Kinda sucked because we were having so much fun but work is work so I grabbed my coat, said my goodbyes and Alisha and I headed home.
I was so exhausted that I barely finished my bedtime blunt when I got home. What a fun day! What great people! what a fabulous performance! And what will I get up to next?
